Default Curtis 1268 Fault Codes

Hi all, I have a fault code on the Curtis 1268 I need help with not sure where to start looking for the fault, any help would be greatly appreciated.
The fault code is 1-4 which is high pedal disable fault. Manual says that possible cause is Improper sequence of direction and throttle inputs. Where do I start looking for the fault.

Cheers

. . . the HPD is a safety lockout . . . if controller detects input from throttle when powered up, ie, accelerator is engaged prior to putting cart into forward or reverse, controller will not allow cart to move to prevent runaway . . . under normal circumstances, releasing the accelerator and reapplying would release the HPD lockout, allowing cart to move . . . start checking everything (switches/wiring) related to throttle input to controller . . . it could be as simple as a micro switch being stuck closed that should be normally open or a loose/broken wire related to throttle input . . . hope this helps . . . others may have different ideas . . .
