Default Found an old Noland 6 passenger cart

Picked up this cart the other day, it's a Noland 6 person cart, I haven't been able to find a whole lot of info on these carts, but I got it for 150$ so I figure I can do something with it. It's 36v, no batteries though, has a Curtis 1204-009 275a controller. Was told it did run at one time but they suspected a controller problem as it was sluggish sometimes. I took it apart down to frame, and found the wiring to be in a total mess, everything loose, nothing seemed terminated right at all, wires cut and tied in all over the place. I did some searching and found wiring schematics for a Curtis 1204 controller with all the same layout as this cart. And comparing that to this cart I'm surprised it ever worked at all. And after taking apart the motor, which is a 2hp GE with external splines shaft, I found the commutator very deeply grooved and damaged. I sent the armature out to Eurton electric in California, and they were able to turn and undercut the commutator and slapped in some new bearings. (After my local motor shop said it couldn't be turned) anyway, I got it back in a week and it looks great. So I rebuilt the motor, just waiting on new brushes to arrive for final assembly. I got all the cables and solenoid and controller cleaned and ready to start new wiring and putting this thing back together. But I've learned a lot from all the posts on here and appreciate all the useful knowledge. I will try to add pics of progress when I can.

Got the motor installed with new brushes, picked up some new Trojan T-105's, I won a nice charger on EBay, it should be here tomorrow. Finish up some minor wiring and I'll be ready to test it out.
