Default Steering Wheel Off Center

My wife biffed a curb with my 2004 Club Car and now the steering wheel is off center. Is this an easy fix?

Barring nothing is bent or out of alignment, you can pull the sterring wheel off and re-center it.

Sure would be, but I'll bet something is bent/knocked out of alignment.

Me too. Especially if the issue didn't start until after a collision.

You need to find out what the problem is before asking for a conclusion.

Obviously something was knocked out of wack. Inspect everything under the front end especially on the side that took the impact. Measure the toe in/out and see what it is. Do this, report back and you will get help. Photos would help us help you.

Look for broken or bent ball joints, a bent drag link or bent shaft out of the steering rack. Also check to see if the front leaf spring got knocked crooked since it's basically the lower control arm. bent spindle or axle? Like others said, check the toe. That'll tell ya a lot.

Most likely a control arm and possibly a bent tie rod end on steering box. Assuming a Precedent as for the tie rod ends. Just replaced a control arm on a member's Precedent on Wednesday for same issue. Get a bushingkit and replace all of the front end bushings while you have it apart. DO NOT buy the Amazon Chinese made bushings or you will replace them in less than a month, as they will crumble. Call David at Revolution Golf Cars or go to your local CC dealer to get them. Replace the bent parts and then check alignment. Most likely, if the wheel was straight before it will be straight when the bent parts are replaced.
