Re: 20x10x8 tires fit under a Carryall I
I mounted 2 of the new 20x10x8 tires today and discovered the tire hits the spindle in the front and the brake line in the back. The wheels I have are centered. I have one new tire mounted on an offset wheel and it fits without interference. Not sure about rubbing in the front when the wheel in turned lock to lock. Bottom line, loooks like I'm about to order four 8" offset wheels since the spacers are so expensive.
After all said and done, Ill be into the re-shoeing project for about $170.00 in tires and $65.00 in wheels totaling $235.00 Another $100.00 and I could have had new 12" wheels with the all trac tires but...I would have had to lift the cart. |

You guys that said "small lift" and "offset wheels or spacers" ... I think it was mikesmotortoys and scottyb ... were dead nuts on fellas.
I sold those freakin tires tonight. Take 2... Save some money and go with a proper lift/wheel/tire combo. |
