Price Check?
'92 - 36v
I took it to a dealer who specializes in carts. I asked them to give it a once over. They checked all of the wiring and connections, bearing, bushings, tires, etc... Ended up the cart needed a steering boot and a battery cable replaced. I had them add a 6" A-arm lift and 12" all terrain tires with black steel rim wheels Tax tag and title my cost was $1000 for all of the above. Is that a fair price or did I get overcharged? I am not much of a do it yourselfer so putting on a lift was not something I wanted to tackle. |

Re: Price Check?
Dependent on the brand of lift, you probably couldve gotten the stuff yourself for $700-800. But it was a dealer, and theyve gotta make a little money to operate, so IMO for prices from a dealer, you didn't get ripped.

Re: Price Check?
The lift was a Mad Jax lift. They are doing all of the work.

Re: Price Check?
The lift is 315 bucks on Ebay. 12 steel wheels and tires 480. So you would have spent 800 just on that if you bought it yourself. $1000 is a fair price
