Default 1997 Ez-Go TXT Series

2 weeks ago I burned up my stock controller and so while the cart was down, I decided to upgrade my components.

Alltrax NPX 4844 controller
4 Gauge welding cable
200 amp soleniod
HD FNR switch

Now my issue is that after I charged the system, I ran the cart fine for about 5-10 minutes and when I went to go the soleniod just clicked and didnt move, the controller didnt light up either. Pushed the cart in the shop, charged it over night, it only charger 1.5 hours and the next morning the cart ran fine again and I drove it down the drive way, about 1/3 mile and let it sit for about 10 mins talking to someone and went to drive away, again jus a click out of my soleniod. My lights are working just fine...very bright still.
Before the first controller went out, the cart would run 1-1.5 hours no problem, with plenty of juice left.

Any suggestions??

Get a Meter and give us some readings .. Also can you attach the meter to the pack and get some under load readings?

To test the pack under load, find a way to securely attach the DVM leads to the plus and minus of the entire pack, or individual batteries, then go climb some hills, while someone reads the DVM.

Were it me, I'd prefer to simply tape the leads to the battery posts, so if it happens to come loose, it's unlikely to short something out. If you use alligator clip jumpers, securely insulate the one to the DVM lead with electrical tape.

after a full charge the cart need to rest for 12 hours before you take battery readings or they will be false, a pack reading is the main POS +, and the main NEG _,

Which battery is the main positive or main negative to test the pack?
