Default What's a cart like this worth...???

Was told by a friend that he found a 1988, 36v club car. I haven't seen it (sorry...no pics) but he was told it needs batteries and comes with a charger. He has no way to check or test it since the batteries are dead. He did say it was used for maintenance around the owners yard...it has a roof, no rear seat, no other information...

I realize this is like a pig in a poke. Any thoughts as to what would be a reasonable offer for something like this...???

I respect your opinions...thanks in advance !!!

I gave a guy on Craigslist $50 for an 88 just a while back.

If it were me, I would try to lay eyes on it. If it looks decent, no missing major parts, little or no damage to the fiberglass body, then I'd go $500-600 at the highest. Batteries are a big investment, and so is a charger if that one doesn't work. After all that, you're left with a cart that needs to stay on stock size tires lest you smoke the V-glide, as it is the weak point of the drive system. My CL rebuild thread above will give you a little idea of what you're dealing with on that particular style cart.

Great Cart for around the property maintenance. Built stationary box in back for hauling almost anything. Needs new batteries and charger is included. Ask for Mike.

I picked my 90 up for $100 from a local GC. It all depends on the condition. If it was used for yard maintenance, there's no telling the shape it could be in

No...not this one. I've got my hands full with attempting to upgrade my 2008 1/2 Precedent. Slow but sure...I must keep reminding myself:

BTW...I spent yesterday morning sifting through Scubabud's build "from 2006 Precedent to Street Legal 2009 ASPT"...WOW...!!! Nice job...great build...!!!
