94 DS, where do i get 24 volt light bulbs ?

Whomever changed your batteries did not wire the low voltage circuit back correctly. You should have around 12V not 24V.

Mine used to be wired off the second 8v battery in series on a 48v cart before I added the voltage reducer. It was feeding 17.2v to the headlights and taillights. They tolerated the voltage fine. Agree with Volt-Ampere post the voltage is too high and likely re-wired with an extra battery in series. Check by using pack negative and positive where you see a smaller accessory wire (likely feeding the lighting system).

Not sure how they got the 24 volts either...

but I took the dash out last night and found a whole lotta 24 volts back there :(

Question is will those switches be ok with 24 volts ?

The LED light bar I put in is rated for 9-36 volts so it's fine at 24 volts...

There is a wiring block of sorts with 8 male spades, looks like it's something made to be tapped into... it's 6 Volts

From what I've read the voltage is dependent on how many batteries you span when you connect ?

Wiring is far from 1 to 1 coming from the front to the batteries, gonna have to tear into the harness to try and follow it all... ug....

Ok, got it all resolved....

Sat down "without" a beer :) and studied the wiring and pulled back the harness covers, made myself a little wiring diagram of how the lights are attached to the batteries.

In short the guy who put in the new batteries attached the lights/keyswitch power to the wrong battery... Connections where made between 4 batteries instead of 2.

Corrected that and will order a 36-12v 30amp converter in the near future so i hook up a stereo too!
