Default Maintenance suggestions

Carts out of commission for a little undergoing motor swap

I figured in the mean time I might as well turn this into an opportunity to do important maintenance

I was going to check the drum break but I could not get the castle but loose since my motor is out the axel spins freely. Any tricks to account for this or should I just put the locked up old motor back on and try to loosen it that way?

Any other things to check?

Differential fluid or suspension?
Any places to lubricate, grease or check and tighten?

Place a crow bar between 2 studs so it hits the floor and prohibits axle rotation.

Set parking brake to loosen castle nut. Remember to release it to remove brake drums.
My cart has grease zerks. All 7 (maybe 9) are on the front suspension and steering. Your cart is 7 years newer. Might be different or maybe none at all on newer carts.
Changing the transaxle fluid might be a good idea.

Once you remove the drums, take a photo. Makes reassembly easier. See if your battery tray needs attention. After that, you can check all cable connections, clean and tighten as needed. Check battery's torque requirements, and be careful, as they are often stated in in-pounds, not foot-pounds. Check water levels. Keep them charged.
