Default Anyway to turn off the beep noise in reverse?

I have an electric 2010 Ezgo TXT and I can't stand the loud beep that indicates you are in reverse. Anyone know how I can turn it off?

If you have fnr switch on the dash it is behind it and can be reached from the right front wheel well above the splash guard. If the fnr is behind your right leg the beeper is under the cover of the fnr switch under the seat. I would personally recommend just putting a piece of tape over the hole to muffle it. Disconnecting it is a bad idea.

On my '07 it is behind the dash next to the right front wheel well. I put a foam ear plug in it to tone it down but not disable it.

That's where it is and exactly what I did on my 2010 TXT48. A friend of mine simply filled his in with silicone, though his is TXT 36 and it is more accessible under the seat. At any rate, make it quieter, don't disconnect it. Just my 2-cents.

On my 2000 TXT 36 (PDS) it's behind the dash beside the F&R switch.

Thanks so much! I will not disconnect it.

I disconnected mine, and always set my FNR in the direction I planned on going when I left. What I hadn't planned on was a neighbor parking in front of me. He got smashed when I punched it.

Even a faint beep is useful.

I put a piece of foam insulation tape over mine. Muffled the sound by over half.
