Default Total Rebuild/Transformation: 1999 TXT DCS

Well its started, last weekend my nephew brought over the cart that was given to him. If you didn't see the last thread, he was given this cart and he ask me to make a hunting buggy.....and since had been looking at ones that someone else had done...he REALLY didn't know for sure as to the pedigree of all the parts. SO he looked at me ask if I could/would build him one with all the "right stuff" using the donated cart? its a 1999 TXT DCS, that has lived its life as an actual GOLF CART, and has been garage kept the whole time. although there is a little rust, but very little. cosmetically its a GREAT LOOKING CART!! his neighbor was just going to stick it by the side of the road and leave it!! GEEEEEZ!!! where was I when that was going on!! LOL

SO.......he and I had talked quite a bit as to what wanted to do with it, and how it is going to be used. When he gets down with the cart he lets me know that there will need to be a few extra things done, as his WIFE got involved!! LOL more parts!!!! lol and the best part, is he told me there is NO BUDGET!! do it like I was doing it for myself and di it 100% right.....WOW! I had already sourced all the parts, all but a few small things from all of your sponsors. and let the ORDERING BEGIN!! I was on the next to the last order and my credit card said "WTF" and laid down on me!! LOL (FRUAD ALERT) so O knew what was going on and in about 10 minutes I was back at it again.

so at this point....this the list of things getting done, and all got ordered this morning....:
1. ALLTRAX XCT500DCS Kit (includes ALLTRAX XCT500DCS, 400 amp Super Duty Solenoid, flex mount, controller fan, and 2 Ga. cable set and Battery Meter w/ mounting plate)
2. DPI 48v CHARGER
3. Admiral MOT-B2 High Torque Motor
4. 12v 30 amp Converter w/ 6 circuit fuse panel and various electrical goodies
5. 2 ea. 21" Double Row LED Light Bar 40 LEDs, 10800 Lumens
6. Jakes 6" lift kit.
7. Fender Flairs
8. 12" BLADE Machined/ Black Wheels and 23x10.5-12" All Terrain Tires
9. Flip down Windshield
10. Black Seat Covers
11. HD Springs (front and rear)
12. Brake Shoes and Springs
13. Precedent F&R Switch and Mount
14. 80" Extended Top
15. CAMO Paint Job

Garage A\C is a must!! (Ask my how I know!!)

I'm guessing your 6" lift is a long travel? I would think or hope it is. I just installed one on mine....after 8 years...and I now wonder why I didn't do this 8 years ago!! It's like going from a '72 Pinto to a '17 Lincoln!!!

You're gonna have a blast with this Nuke!

Looks like there may be an issue with Photobucket, it says temporarily disabled?

well I just figured it out.....frickin PHOTOBUCKET....I have had a free account for about 15 years.....as it was free when I signed up. obviously they I won't be using them ever again, as for me to able to post pics on the forums it would cost me $40/MONTH....yeah right like that's gonna happen. Oh well, back to posting thumbnails like the rest.

the worse part....EVERY image I have posted on a forum is gone.....all that shows up now is this....RAT BASTARDS!!! LOL
