I have an ‘88 Club Car DS with the 1 solenoid resistor setup, and I was having constant meltdowns with only 36v. Last week, my brand new wiper switch decided to short and melt, and I ordered one of Scotty’s upgrade kits.

I’m glad to hear it’s easy- mine hasn’t come yet.

I've installed 2 of Scotty' s conversion kits, one on a EZGO marathon and one on a DS. Both were pretty simple if you have a basic understanding of electronics and follow directions. I strongly recommend the conversion kit.

The kit is back ordered right now so I ordered mine last week and I won’t get it for another two weeks. Not Scotty’s fault, of course, but there’s a delay.
