Default Re: Battery question

Could be your reed switch failed. Check pin 4 on J1 for pack voltage. Red wire with white stripe.

Thanks, that what it was, wire was pulled loose. Here is the situation now. From the beginning, Cart would only drive for about 2 minutes before acting like batteries were dead, I noticed that the forward/reverse switch was getting so hot I couldn't even touch the plastic cover on it. So naturally I replaced it. put it on the charger over night, checked it the next morning and the cart would do nothing at all. I checked the solenoid and was able to jump it and drive it with no issues. I drove it for about 10 minutes, I figured it was bad so I replaced it cart still wouldn't run. Turns out it was the reed switch. fixed that problem and the cart ran for about 2 minutes. Now its is still having the original problem again. Load tested all batteries and they are fine. Batteries were a little low so I put in charge over night, woke up this morning and charger was still on. Was on my way to work so I couldn't check voltage. But what I did notice is the charger even when I hooked it up was only charging at around 2-4 amps. Sorry for the long post but I'm starting to go crazy. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Its a 99 exgo txt with mechanical forward/reverse switch(not sure which model) thanks in advance.
