I'm assuming this is a series car since you used a new F&R switch.... Is there a buss bar across the bottom two terminals of the F&R switch?

On the rear of the f and r switch the top two terminals are connected and the bottom two terminals are connected as well.

Yes it is a series car. 2001 club car carryall2
This is step 1(torque upgrade)
Step 2 lift and tires

This is sure a pain in the *** though.
It seems rather straight forward with the wiring diagram and the combined automotive knowledge of my diesel mechanic neighbor and my mechanical background.
I do know enough to not start reversing wires without some technical support. this forum has been very helpful to me and all of the responses have been a great help.

I don't believe the top 2 should be hooked together...I don't have my wire diagram in front of me but that could be your problem

There is a bus bar between them. The original switch was the same

I will post a pic.

Thanks for the link to the parts manual. Don't know if it will help but it will certainly come in handy in the future
