run your lights and run your power wires to a switch on dash and from dash to a pos terminal on a battery , than run your grounds from lights togather and come off that with a ground back to a neg terminal of battery......pick 2 batteries that give you 12 volts.................hot wire to one battery and ground to the other battery that gives you your 12 volts..............no grounds to frame or anywhere other than a battery..........................now you can get a 36 volt to 12 volt reducer to let you use your whole battery pack but if you choose just 2 batteries switch up batteries every few months to try and keep batteries voltage as close as possible....................45 minutes work just disconnect main power while running wires and hooking up until you get to where you need power..............................
