Reverse only...won't go forward
Hey all,
I tried to search on this but didn't come with much, at least the titles didn't offer any insight... 2006 TXT Series cart, refurbed by EZ-GO and I've had it for a few months. Batteries are brand new. The cart will not go forward. It clicks but that's it. If I flip the lever to reverse, it moves just as normal. FWIW, I had noticed over the past few weeks that when I pushed the pedal to go, it wouldn't move until the pedal was almost all the way to the floor and then it would lurch forward. Any thoughts on what's going on or where to start? |

You have 2 problems here. For simplicity lets call them problem 1 and 2
1= it won't go until peddle is half way (or so) depressed, then it starts with a lurch. (correct? does this happen in both directions (when F&R worked) or just Forward or just Rev? 2 = cart no ;longer goes in Forward. Does the solenoid click when you try to go forward just like it does when you do go in reverse? |

1 - lurch happens in Forward and Reverse 2 - solenoid does click in Reverse and when trying to go Forward |

1 = you might have a bad ITS or did this happen after a water event where water amy have gotten into the ITS box under the floor mat? see test below
2 = you may have a bad F&R just give a quick continuity test, see below |
