Angry Slow then GO!!!

Hi everybody! I've got a 97 48V. club car that goes 23mph, my problem is the operation of the V-glide. My problem is that it seems mabey 1/3 of the speed for almost all pedal movement and the last 1/8in. of pedal is like a switch that makes it GO!! does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong, diods ? I have taken it apart and cleaned the coper fingers but that didn't help. Thanks! Steve , By the way It's a series cart with one solnoid and a 3 wire triangle plug v-glide and the batts are one year old interstates.

Welcome to BGW!
I am no expert, I just like to look around on here, but it seems that maybe your v glide is going out, or maybe one of your solenoids is bad.
Somebody that knows more should chime in soon...
