When you say same size - do you mean diameter or length?
They will be different lengths to make the connections between batteries...
They should all be the same gauge of internal wire
although the thickness of insulation and the diameter might vary.
I don't know how much variation you might see there.
I have read that you should replace the wires regularily, maybe when you replace batteries?

well seeing as how you have a series cart, and you are going to get a new set of cables from Scotty, when you got him on the phone, or actually before, look at your solenoid, as Johnnie mentioned, you need at least a 200a solenoid, if you have a stock solenoid, its only good for 85a, so you should get at least a 200a....scotty can help you with that as well.

BUT your dad mentioned about making it faster....you have a number of options, and some will or can work together. larger diameter tires will make it a little faster, but you will loose torque by pitting the larger tires on, you can upgrade to 48v, but that is a big expense, as it requires a whole new battery pack and charger, and there is always putting a high speed motor in it.
