Re: Use roll away feature
Check With cgtech or JohnnieB.
They are great at DC carts.. I am a little concerned with cart moving w/beeper sounding, seen problems caused by towing carts in "RUN"-- could this be effectively same as towing cart without putting cart in "tow"? -------- i do not know answer just don't want to see your cart damaged------- |

Re: Use roll away feature
The beep-beep-beep is just to inform you that the cart you have just stepped off from is trying to roll away without you (i understand you are still on it, the cart does not). I think using the anti-rollaway feature this way is ok, it will not harm the cart if not done for long distances. If it was not ok, they would have not put this feature in the cart. If you tow the cart, it MUST be put in tow. Applying more force than gravity to overcome the regen braking (towing) is not ok, it will develop way too much heat in the controller & motor. I would put fuzzy velcro over the buzzer, and be done with it.

Re: Use roll away feature
IM, if you tap the throttle once when you start rolling I believe the beeping will stop. The rollaway feature kicks in if the cart has come to a complete stop and then starts rolling without the go pedal being pushed. Once the pedal has been tapped it goes back to normal mode.
