Distance between Clutches
I am going to be putting in a Kawasaki 440 Motor in my 84 EZGO. Before I pulled the old motor out I failed to measure the distance between the clutches so I could make sure I got the correct belt length.
Any one know how far apart the clutches should be? |

Re: Distance between Clutches
Get the belt you want first then bolt the engine down to fit the length of the belt you have.

Re: Distance between Clutches
pics of ezgo, with new belt .....CLutch was machined so this is a bit tighter than stock....it shifted OK but, you wouldn't want it any tighter..... the new belt has stretched out someand now it shifts fine.
