G14 clutch issues
hello i got a g14 needs a new drive belt but my main concern i9s the clutch, how can i check to see if it needs replaced. took cover off nothing looks broken but it is a bit loose on the shaft. any i deas thanks. belt slaps bottom frame area clutch has slight wooble, but make a bunch of noise. if that helps. thanks

The old clutches on G2/9s has a gold rounded cover and the weights in those eventually break off at the pressed pin in them and the link they ride on. The newer carts g14/etc use a roller clutch and the rollers in them go bad and get flat spots on them. The center bushing can wear out and wobble, press a new one in. Is normal for a little play, but a lot they get noisy. Grease it and see if it gets quieter, just one pump of grease.
