Re: Club Car Electric Solid Front Axle
Thanks. I was going to install it next week, but decided it’s best to wait to install it until after the end of the month, we have a couple vacations planned and one of them has a cart poker run.....so instead of running around like crazy... I’ll do it in august.

Re: Club Car Electric Solid Front Axle
Well.... I blinked and 8 months went by.... anyway, it’s high time I get around to installing the axle. I just tore out the old front end and I’m starting to fab the new mega long 4 link bars, it’ll be 4x4 soon.

Re: Club Car Electric Solid Front Axle
Nice work on the front end sir.
What kind of electronics you planning on for it. Those 2 motors are gonna want some juice. How you planning to control it for both motors? Do you have room for 72 volts are you going Lithium in it? |

Thanks. It’s actually a lithium “toaster” cart. It has the 4 resisters and old school wiper contact board for a controller. My plan is to take my 4 wires on the motor (a1,a2,s1,s2) and run from the rear axle to 4 solenoids then to the front motor. One master switch to turn the 4 solenoids on and “engage” the 4x4. I don’t plan on needing it very often (if at all) it already goes everywhere, but I figured it wasn’t cool just being 2wd. How long will it last? Who knows. Who cares? When it does finally burn up, I’ll order 2 Alltrax controllers for it and program them the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
