front disk-brake kits
I decided against the Hot Set-up & will instead hold out for the 402's to come in. In the mean-time I figure I should work on stopping the thing. I'm assuming the best bet would be to go with a front disk-brake kit, but wanted to see if there's a consensus on the best brake kit for a lifted G-16??

Re: front disk-brake kits
I installed the Jake’s hydraulic brakes on our cart and it will stop on a dime. I already had the Jake’s 6” lift so all I had to do was buy the kit that fit that setup.

Re: front disk-brake kits
You don't specify if your cart is stock or lifted and if lifted what brand of lift kit you have.
I have the Jakes 6" lift and the Jakes hydraulic front brakes and it was one of the best upgrades I made. I can now stop on the steep hills here in the Pa. woods. |
