Default Buying question

Hey folks,

I'm very new to golf carts and I'm considering purchasing a used 05 CC DS. Just trying to find out what are the pros and cons of this model compared to a Precedent? Is the DS slow, even though it's a 48V? If it's slow, can that be changed in the motor settings? Are there any things that I can't do on this model like lift kits, big wheels, adding a radio, rear seats, extended roof, etc?

Any tips you can give would be greatly appreciated.

The DS is an excellent cart. The model doesn't affect the speed, the drive system does. The serial of the particular cart will tell the drive system.
