I pulled the suspect battery and charged it individually but it wouldn't take any charge. I guess a bad battery is the answer. This is strange to me because I bought them new about 1 month ago.

Most likely the guy who hooked the battery wrong (or forgot to hook it) is the cause of the battery dying.
I would take it back to the place that connected it wrong and get them to replace the battery. |

I exchanged the battery and the cart works great. Hopefully it will charge successfully.
