Default 2008 ezgo txt series charging issue and pedal dead spots sometimes

just picked up a 2008 TXT series 36v. Batteries were dead and it came with a QE charger. the charger flashed 2 red lights so I charged pairs of batteries with my 12v charger and got the pack to 30v. Charger still didn't work. Cleaned the negative connector on the port and the charger started to work. However, it wouldn't fully charge. Just kept up with the long green flash. Now it will flash red twice a few times, sense voltage, hear it click, light turns green for a second then it goes back to 2 red flashes. I have cleaned every connection on the batteries. They all are reading right at 6 volts. Neighbor has the same charger and his does the same thing so I know the charger is good. Could a weak battery cause the charger not to work?

This is the issue that is killing me. I have worked on this thing and got to know it pretty well. 36v, turn key on, put in forward, push pedal and hear the solenoid click and the thing will not move. It feels like it is trying to move, and there is some noise in the motor area (kind of like it doesn't have enough power to turn the motor). Then there are times you push the pedal and it will go. Sometimes only to half speed other times it runs normally. This is an intermittent issue but it happens more frequently than not. It just seems like the pedal has dead spots. You hear the solenoid click everytime. Sometimes the tires will move, sometimes not. It may get to half throttle and cut out. It is just so random as to where the pedal is in conjunction to when the motor decides to not work. Any help or things I should check, please let me know. Need some specific voltages, I have a DVM and can use it...

It was the batteries. Even though they would show 5-6 volts. The CCAs were extremely low. One battery had over 5v and 0 CCA. Another had 27 CCA.
So, I bought 6 Crown 220mah and they fully charge and the cart works as it should.
