Default Club Car DS 36 Volt . HELP. TROUBLE SHOOT

Hey guys having a bit of trouble with a early 80s club car ds. 36 volt. Cart was running fine. Was at a stop in neutral key off. Turned on and put in reverse and backed up a slight incline. The tires spun and got up the little hill. Put into forward and nothing. Soleinoids just clicking. Towed it home. Assumed the master solenoid was bad. Changed it out. Put car in forward and car went forward then put in reverse and proceeded to back up heard a small zap or short of some sort. Now no clicking solenoids AT ALL. Just micro switchs clicking. Any ideas? Are the small posts on the silenoids both the same? Can they be wired backwards??

I would test for 3 things at the motor controller.
At the controller there should be three spade connected smaller wires. 1- should be switch power 36v when you turn the key on. 2, and 3 should be the input homs from the gas pedal. Probe both and test for output from the pedal. It should be 0-5k or 5k-0 when you test it.

This cart does not have a controller.

Look for a loose or broken cable at the FNR and elsewhere.
