Default EZGO 36V-Reed Switch Termination

Can somebody help me here??? This connector is from the Reed Switch from the cart receptacle...Where do I terminate it? I see no other male connectors that it can plug in to. I was told if it isn't terminated the cart won't run as a fail safe.

Thanks for the help. Trying to get this project out of the garage and on the street.

It originally went to the push-on terminal that the blue wire is now on.

That blues wire isn't stock, so it has been added, probably to bypass the reed switch. If the cart runs wire red wire disconnected, than the reed switch has been bypassed.

The purpose of the reed switch is to disable the cart so it cannot be driven away while the charger is plugged into it. Being a high failure item that has stranded many people out in the middle of nowhere, EZGO stopped using reed switches and many cart owners have bypassed them.

So what shall I do with the termination? Does the blue wire need a male connector and connect the two? Presently I have the blue wire attached to the battery side of the solenoid...Can you help me solve this JohnnieB?

If the blue wire is connected to the battery side large terminal on the solenoid, the reed switch has been bypassed and the cart ought to run.

If so, you can leave the red wire as is, or cut it off.
