I had a big hole in my Precedent instrument panel where I had a round analog battery meter.
Instead of getting a new instrument panel, I bought a plastic office garbage can, cut a section out to match what I needed to cover on the stock panel and bolted it in place.
I have both of my digital meters on this piece.

If the master is going to make on for you, he has to put the clips in the top to hold it in place, then put screw holes in the bottom to fasten it in place.

These can be bought new for under $50 as well

Hi. I doubt if you realise the cost of international freight. I just bought a 48V Save A Battery from the US because it was recommended on the forum and the only equivalent I could find in Australia was a very high priced professional unit. Now that is just a fairly small package but they want 109 USD for DHL freight so I chose the cheaper USPS for 34 USD. I rarely buy anything from Amazon because an item worth a few dollars costs about 50 USD more just for the freight. And, of course, the larger the package, the larger the freight - disproportionately so it would seem.

If you don't want to do it yourself just go to your local metal shop and take your existing panel with you as a template. They'll be able to cut it out of whatever metal you choose (checkerplate or whatever) and bend the L shape into it. Then you'll have a nice flat panel that you can drill into to position your key etc and whatever gauges you want.

You won't need any fancy clips. That panel is held on by two T30 torx screws (one at either end) and another at the top (size T15) for which you will have to attach a little angle bracket (which can be bought from Lowes for a few cents).

If you don't want to do your own, then Kashmir's solution is a beauty.

Good luck.
