Re: Replace key switch with button
HHHMMM,
And I just changed my common key switch to an uncommon key switch to help deter theft. I know it will only deter the honest thieves, LOL. Aflyer |

Re: Replace key switch with button
Heavy duty toggle will do it. But again, why? Makes it easier to steal.

Re: Replace key switch with button
Use a relay for key switch powered by a 12 volt lighted rocker

Re: Replace key switch with button
mrgolf, that would work great if you are using an aux 12V battery for accessories. Otherwise no 12V available for the relay, until cart battery power to the converter. I don't know if the 12V constant voltage wire with the 5 wire converters has enough power for the operation of the relay. If it does, then the lighted 12V switch could work with the relay.

Re: Replace key switch with button
I leave mine at the ranch. No key would actually make things simpler. I leave it in the one I have there now. Might rethink it on this build.

Re: Replace key switch with button
This one should work if you're happy with a toggle rather than a button...
