Controller upgrade question
What's up guys?? Was messing around the hunting club yesterday. Got a question if someone could point me in the right direction. I have a 2012 48v txt. 6 inch lift with 23's. Everything else is stock. I need a little extra boost. It's great riding around the neighborhood but doesn't like the trails to much. Any suggestions with out breaking the bank??? Thx!

Re: Controller upgrade question
250a is only gonna do what 250a can do. You are limited by the small stock controller size. It's time to start saving them pennies for a Alltrax controller upgrade. It will gain you a bunch of torque and some speed.

Re: Controller upgrade question
This cart is great with an Alltrax XCT48400 controller and HD solenoid. The stock motor is longer than the previous PDS models - this results in a lot more torque than a PDS owner ever dreamed of

Re: Controller upgrade question
While I would definitely do an Alltrax controller, maybe you can swap tires/wheels with a hunting buddy, and see how a 21" tire performs?

Re: Controller upgrade question
Thx for the input guys, that's exactly what I was looking for. I will do the controller, solenoid and upgrade the cables. [emoji106]

Re: Controller upgrade question
I may do this as well very soon. Have a 2011 txt 48v wanting more TQ and a bit more speed. Debating about motor or 400 amp controller getting mixed advice.

Re: Controller upgrade question
Do the controller first. You will get more torque & speed with the stock motor, you might decide you don't even need a different motor. The original controller won't provide more torque And more speed with a new motor, it's one or the other.
