PDS speed controller diagnosing

I've been troubleshooting my ezgo which I think is a 2003 pds, serial # is 2007198 . There are no other numbers on the cart. Thought it was a bad solenoid and replaced it but nope. I've done the troubleshooting up to the controller which I think is bad but I ran into a snag on the diagnostic page where it says

"AT THE SIX PIN CONNECTOR OF THE CONTROLLER

Place the (+) probe on the black wire terminal of the connector.
The reading should be slightly above 14 volts but than 15 volts. If the voltage is not correct, the Throttle Sensor MAY be faulty."

I don't have a black wire or a six pin but the sticky diagram for TXT PDS speed control looks like my controller and the diagram also does not have a 6 pin or black wire. I have the stock curtis controller with the 10 pin connector.

Also I tried to put the cart in the error beep code test and it doesn't beep after the 4 beeps of the speed chip. The cart doesn't move at all. The solenoid clicks and I also hear a click from the pedal box. Any help would be great because I'm not great with the electrical diagnosing. All batteries are fully charged reading 6.4 individually.

Yeah, I was just as confused with that 6 pin thing as it doesn't exist...

Look at the picture below, everything marked in red needs to have 36v

Jack the cart up put it on stands, tow/run on tow, key on f/r in forward. Disconnect negative cable, remove controller cover, reconnect negative. Tow/run will need to be on run for the test, be very careful.

Thanx for the respond! Everything has 38v except J1 it had nothing. So maybe a bad pedal switch?

Also when checking voltage on the controller do I need to unplug the plugs or leave them plugged in? I've been leaving them plugged in.

Forgot to say J1 was on the J4 pin.

Leave them plugged in

You have a bad reed switch (pin 4 on J1) no need to replace it, just bypass it.

It doesn't seem to be the reed switch. I put a straight wire to bypass it and still nothing. I put the reed switch back on and tested the voltage at its spade connector and got 38v.

print out my diagram in post #2, take it to the cart, with your multimeter you should have 36v (+) at pins 1-5 & 7-9 at J1 and pins 1&2 at J4 when you try to go.
Does the solenoid click when you try to go?
You should read 36v between the 2 small solenoid terminals when you try to go. If no see if you are missing the + or the - side of the circuit.

Yes the solenoid clicks and I'm getting 37v at all of the pins. When I put the multimeter on the small solenoid terminal with the blue wire and push the pedal it goes to 0. The one with the yellow wire stays at 37v. I'm not sure what you meant by saying "If no see if you are missing the + or the - side of the circuit" I'm guessing I'm losing the - side?

It appears pin 6 is failing to provide the (-) side of the activation circuit when the pedal is depressed. Remove this lead from the solenoid and run a new wire to the controller B- or the battery main -.
