Re: 2009 CC Precedent - Time for Upgrades
Sorry for the delayed response, I replied yesterday morning before leaving for a trip and returned too late to do any more to the cart. The last few days are a blur from lack of sleep. lol If I remember correctly, there was a setting below the Speed Limit that said something about the amount of throttle to use?
I'll check it again tonight along with doing a diag run with a volt meter hooked up to check the battery pack voltage at top speed. Yes, the reverse alarm is working like it did before. |

Re: 2009 CC Precedent - Time for Upgrades
FYI, the "Throttle Rate" is how quick the Controller will adjust the output power based on the change in throttle position, a high value may make give you a "jumpy" response to throttle input.
The Alltrax software will also only acknowledge a high "throttle rate" value if the Controller is set to "Street" mode, in "Turf" mode the Controller will limit the throttle rate to prevent the tires from spinning on turf. It would be better for the motor to keep that value lower, around 50% or so. The reason I asked about the reverse buzzer is to make sure the FNR signal was in FWD when traveling forward, just in case that 75% number you posted was a reference to the "Max reverse speed" setting. |

Thank you very much Sergio for the clarification and the continued assistance. What you said makes sense and must have been what I was seeing/referring too.

Re: 2009 CC Precedent - Time for Upgrades
Good Morning all. Here is the data from this morning. I noticed I'm not getting close to speed limit RPM's (4294 going down a very slight decline/set at 5000). Is that about the max for my stock motor or can this be attributed to having 3 older batteries? Also, it looks like I'm dropping between 6-8 volts when at full throttle. Is that normal?
The battery current and motor current are staying within 2 to 4 amps of each other at full throttle/top speed. |
