Default new motor need info!!

I just got a new motor for my 36 volt ezgo. The tag on it says 36 volt dc with a rating of au2500. I am not sure what the horse power is on this. could you help me. I am hoping it will be as good as the last one I had. The last motor was a 36 volt from ezgo. Is this motor as good as a stock ezgo? better? or worse?

Thanks Scott

what folks would need to know is who makes the motor. what is the part number on the motor. basically we would need to know ALL of the name plate data on the motor.

When I install the new motor are there any tricks to it. I know it a dumb question because it's only a few bolts and its in.

no tricks.....just either the main positive or negative cable off of the batteries. then just take your time and ensure you are connecting all of the cables to the correct posts on the motor. oh and BTW.....here is the run down on your motor.

this is replacement electric motor for Non DCS/PDS (SERIES CARTS) E-Z-GO 36 Volt electric vehicles from 1989-Up.* This series wound electric DC motor is made by Advancd DC for E-Z-GO and is their "high speed" fleet motor. This motor is rated at 2.75 Non-Peak HP @ 2800 Rpms and with the stock 275A/36V controller and standard 18" tall tires, you should get about 18 mph top end flat ground speed.

My cart is a 96 DCS. I have an upgraded all trax controller and solenoid I bought from Scotty b. Will this motor still work? Now I'm worried.
