Dealer gave me wrong OBC (?)

So I'm trying to replace the OBC on my club car that isn't charging. The original OBC has the part number 101909905. I went down and got an OBC from a local club car dealer and they gave me an OBC with the part number 103359401.

When they first gave it to me I took it out and immediately noticed that it didn't look like my old one, but they said that they had upgraded the OBC and that it should be compatible with my cart. After taking it back to the shop to install it, I noticed even more differences in the setup of this OBC. The new one had a 6 pin connector while the old one only had 3 pins. The ground cable that passes through the computer split into three different cables while the old one was only one cable all the way through.

I'm not sure how to install it. Was the dealer just selling me manure or is there a conversion process to install this computer unto my cart? Do I need a new wiring harness? Any info would be appreciated!

Your dealer is clueless, the 3-pin is for a Series cart and the 6-pin OBC is for an IQ cart, there is no conversion.

Return the OBC and order one from David @ revolutionGolfCars.com
