Default ITS Testing Results

Problem-Cart is acting sluggish, running at about 60-75% output.

Decided to follow the ITS testing protocol in the service manual. The results are:
1. Solenoid activated, V=2.79
2. Pedal all the way down, V=2.06

Reference V=50.6

Replace the ITS?

ITS can go bad but it is pretty rare.
Which drive system PDS, DCS, SERIES ?
Which controller?

Series

SR48500 controller, 2 ga wiring, reversing contacts

Just for grins, took the ITS out and found some sand inside (beach cart). Cleaned it out, reinstalled and got the following:
1. Solenoid activated, V=4.46
2. Pedal all the way down, V=3.22

Still showing a voltage drop on pedal down.

The SR control has quick throttle check feature. The status LED will change from green to amber when the controller receives a full throttle signal. You can test this with the cart in neutral.

For voltage testing follow the sticky at the top of this section on throttle testing for your particular unit?
The Sr control signal is 10v pedal up and 6v pedal down

LED on controller stays green on pedal down.

Controller is not going to full output. Connect laptop and see the percentage in the toolkit monitor. Or continue voltage tests.

Finally back on the cart.

Hooked up Alltrax toolkit to the controller and is showing 75% of throttle on pedal down. No other flags or errors. I have an ITS ordered and will replace.

Try clearing the throttle auto-cal.

once clear make several 0-100% throttle trips with the cart and then recheck the LED & monitor to see if the situation has improved. If no, open the pedal box and insure the plunger is going into the tube all the way.... (nearly to the end of the tube should do it)

I'll try the auto cal clear route. Looked at the plunger the other day and is extending through the back of the tube.

Will have to wait until Friday to get access to the cart.
