It must be really loose. I’ve never seen an EzGo TXT roof move around. Only on some club cars.

It's tight I guess it's more of a creaking sound over bumps even going slow

Mine has always rocked back and forth. Some people say the TXT is notorious for this. As far as noises it may be because of a crack or possibly you should add some rubber washers where it bolts to the struts. Do you know if the noise comes from the top or at the base of the struts?

If it were me I would use washers under the head of the screw/bolt and between the top and strut. Good luck.

Yeah the txt roof isn’t supported very well.
Are you sure it’s the roof and not your windshield?
Unbolt the roof and make sure the big nylon washers are in there. Place some green sticky felt on the top of the roof brackets and reinstall.
But I have money it’s the windshield. Let me know if it is and I’ll tell you how to fix that.

I used dense foam rubber weather stripping with adhesive on one side. Stuck it in the recessed channels for the support brackets in the canopy, made holes for the bolts with an awl and added a couple washers to the stock hardware.

I had tightened all the nuts & bolts that attach the brackets to cart, which were every so slightly loose, but that didn't completely eliminate the squeaks, so I did the weather stripping and that took care of it.
