Back to your problem. Your saying unhooking the speed sensor the cart passes the start up sequence and then shut down in a few feet?

But with it hooked up it doesn't pass start up?

without sensor , it passes the sequence.
with sensor , it doesn't

the problem was that we worked without connecting the brakes
now it works fine
