2006 Precedent still slow after speed code 5
I installed the Speed Code 5 program from giminde on my 2006 Club Car Precedent last evening. The program loaded just as in the instructions with no issue. The cart is still pretty slow under power, however. I do note it will go downhill much faster than previously before the regen braking kicks in, but with the "GO" pedal to the floor on a straight section it won't go much faster than 10mph. I did check the batteries and with my old school non digital volt meter the battery pack shows 51 VDC and each battery 13 VDC.
Do you have any idea where I should look next for an issue? |

Re: 2006 Precedent still slow after speed code 5
Speed codes are only done from factory Curtis programmers with a code provided and purchased from the factory. I’m unsure as to the effectiveness of the programmers like you have purchased. Even without the code your speed should be around 13mph or so. You could have anything from a speed sensor issue to an MCOR or controller issue.
