Ezgo Hotwire
Have a 06 series cart. Everything is stock. Cart does not have a key switch but has been wired to stay on all the time. Wanting to wire it correctly and add switch back in but have no idea what I need to do. Wires are there, just not hooked to anything. Looked at wiring diagram and looks like blue wire goes to f/r but don’t know exactly where and can’t figure where green wire goes. Picture of what has been done attached.

Does green wire go somewhere in the pedal box?

Re: Ezgo Hotwire
See diagram attached. You may not use the Green wire shown. I have seen many carts with this wire unused

Re: Ezgo Hotwire
thanks, my wires in the harness (blue and green) are just sitting there unused on both ends. I can't figure out what they did to hotwire it so I can undo it.

Re: Ezgo Hotwire
These are pictures of an unmolested directional switch in a 2000 series cart. I'm the only owner so I know this switch has never had any activation circuit modifications. This cart is 6 years older than yours but it's unlikely EZGO made any changes.

Re: Ezgo Hotwire
i really appreciate that. I think it helps a ton. looks like they jumpered the green wire away from where it was supposed to go to the spot where the blue wire was supposed to go.
