Default Question(s) concerning DC converter and wiring for LED light bar:

Good evening all,

I’ve had my 2013 TXT refurb for about a year now and love it. The time has come to install an LED light bar.

I have a DC converter installed already, presumably to run my Kicker Bluetooth stereo. I’m assuming, the converter isn’t keyed as I have to manually turn on/off my Kicker stereo.

That being said, I want to install a small LED light bar. Max of 12”. My DC converter is a: SURE POWER 41020C10UL model. There’s also a fuse panel installed as well (although all 5 fuses appear to be in use).

I can never seem to find a simple wiring diagram to address such an install on the internet or YouTube. Maybe it’s not that simple?!

Thanks,

Is this a factory reducer?

I have no clue. I don’t think so? Pretty sure they put one in for the Kicker stereo.

If it is an aftermarket reducer custom installed there won't be a diagram.

If you only have a stereo installed, where do the other fuses go?
