cost of parts
My brother has a 2009 cc president 48 v, it would start out at full speed
then slow to a crawl. I told him, that he probably needed a new speed sensor! And to go to some of the site sponsors for parts. He told me that the replacement part was approx. $105.00, then he checked on amazon and ordered the part for $14.00 and free shipping! The speed sensor came in and it fixed the problem! I know the old saying (you get what you pay for). And time will tell! turned out the magnet hed a crack in it! My point is how can their be that much difference between such a simple part??? Re: cost of parts
I’ve heard bad things about the cheap speed sensors. I’ve always gotten them from a site sponsor.

Re: cost of parts
I understand what you are saying, but for $14 compared to$105 one may think it's worth the risk!

Re: cost of parts
It all depends on how often the $14.00 one fails and how much you mind fixing something vs. just driving it.

I have had 3 speed senors and 2 MCOR's (all eBay or Amazon) be bad right out the box or within a few months, but never any purchased from the great suppliers here.... And for me, and most importantly, these sponsors pay to support this site so it can operate to help the thousands of people that have came through here, and many of us dedicate countless hours helping others repair their carts to avoid $100's or even $1000's of dollars in repair costs and trip charges by not having to go to the repair shops. (And this is meant as a general statement and not at you BM357) Support Your Site Sponsors so this site can continue to serve and help us ALL.... |

The same old argument. My Chinese part is better than your Chinese part.
