Default New Reducer

I just installed a 48v to 12v reducer in my Precedent and connected the reducer to a marine fuse box so adding new accessories would be easy. I plugged the wire from the light harness into the fuse box and they work fine. I also have a USB and cigarette lighter that I installed on the cart and when I hook them into the fuse box they do not work. The terminal that has the hot from the lights has a 15 amp fuse. I've tried every fuse from a 5 to 30 on the terminal with the usb/cig lighter and it will not work. Should I remove the fuse box and wire directly into the reducer? If so, what is my best method for connecting multiple wires into the one + and one - wire coming from the reducer?

Default New Reducer

Is the fuse panel equipped with a ground bus? If so, is the usb jack grounded directly to the fuse panel? Sounds like it’s time to get the multimeter out to see where in the wiring you are losing power.

A USB port can give 500 mA output max provides 5 Volts x 0.5 Amo = 2.5 Watts

I removed the wires from the fuse box and put them directly to a battery to see if the usb/cig lighter was the problem and they worked so that’s not it. I’m going to remove the fuse box and wire all accessories directly to the reducer.
What is the best way to wire multiple accessories to the reducer? Also, is there a way I can wire multiple accessories to it while making it simple to tie in more accessories in the future without having to cut and re-wire every time?

The way You have is correct, keep the fuse box.

You know the fuse box works since there is where You got the +12v for the lights.

The question is, where did You connect the negative for the USB adapter?

There is a bank of negative poles on the fuse box which is where it’s connected. I thought that was the issue and tried putting the negative wire to a negative pole on one of the batteries and still nothing.
