The FSIP motor is better built than most off the shelf motors. If we look at the failure rates FSIP comes in ahead of Admiral percentage-wise. We are now carrying a full line of their speed and high torque motors. There really is a motor our there for every budget. The only caution I'l add is you don't get a speed motor to go hunting in the hills even if that hunting is only 2 weeks a year and the rest of the time is spent on flat ground... get a separate motor for that activity.

Unfortunately - peak hp of not measured equally in all makes and models.

2 years now and no issues with my AMD BEAST motor, it’s a series motor though, heavy use in hills and heavy mud. 20+mph (which is way to fast in woods BTW).
