05 DS IQ Not Running
I have been browsing the forums on this issue.
I just picked up a 2005 DS IQ, newer Trojan batteries and the charger so I figured ill risk it. The guy said it would run periodically. figured id have to just go over everything. Charging system must work because its at 50.8v, going through all the connections, I pulled the 16 pin at the controller and saw a nasty chunk out of the connector but noticed no wire in it. upon looking more I saw the Tan wire out of the loom with soldering on it. I'm guessing someone tried to fix it by soldering it back on. I am going to order a new 16 pin connector and a new pin. https://smile.amazon.com/Molex-Circu...+8x2+way+molex I see from the wiring diagram that the tan splices into the blue to the switch and blue to the MCOR. wanted to ask if im maybe going to need a new controller as I tried to plug it all back in and shove the wire in and nothing happened. just trying to understand what I am in for. thank you! |

Re: 05 DS IQ Not Running
If the controller was powering up before hand it still should. You need to have all the connections landed appropriately and then see where you are at.
