Default 2010 Rxv Gear Set

Hey guys anyone got a lead on a new gear set for rxv, bone stock?

Everything I found was like $5-600, and would love to have a set to replace my whiny set. I replaced every bearing, and the input shaft and bearings and still it whines, and really want it to be quiet.

Are you sure it's the rear end? Motors fed from a VFD always whine (I guess technically they aren't VFDs, since they don't have to rectify AC first). Have you compared yours with another RXV?

Yes I've driven others some are quieter, others of like year model are same. I'm not really sure if it's the motor or the rear end.

Question for RXV experts.

Did EZGO make the newer model inverters with more pulses than the older ones? In my former field, more pulses meant quieter, but also more $$.

All I know is prior to 2104 models, all of the RXV's that I've had made some degree of whining noise. I've had 8 2014 models and they were all quiet.

If it's still making noise, I would be going after the input shaft and it's bearings.

I already replaced the input shaft and bearings, actually every bearing in the entire rear end. Used lucas 85-140, with friction modifier, and no difference. I did notice some play between the intermediate and the larger gear...

If I had to choose one of the two gears to replace would be the intermediate, and didn't know if this would be a logical next step to replace that one gear or if I should buy a set?
I was also wondering if anyone had a hook up on the gear sets.
