Perfect situation to buy a cart that was involved in a flood.

What year was the RXV and where are you located? The year matters because the RXV frames changed over the years...

Most insurance companies probably do. That used to be a problem buying used cars with salvage titles in the Southeast, for folks that didn't know what a salvage title looked like. Insurance companies had TONS of flooded cars, and found a way to "launder" them.

I don't anymore but check with your local cart shops, they might.

Word of mouth is amazing. Check with all local dealers, repair shops, salvage shops, church members, etc.

I've bought a few flood carts over the years.

2008 to mid-2010 dash frames are set up to use older front struts that are not compatible with the newer dash frames. Mid-2010 through 2019 have dash frames that can only use the newer front strut. That 2009 frame that I bought to fix my 2012 had a dash frame that was not compatible. I chose to use it for another ptoject. I bought a 2008 flood cart and rebuilt that one.

you will have to pull the frame 5 to six inches further than straight to get it to go back to the original place. do you have any way to apply some heat to the frame while you have it pulled. like a torch?
also you can take a BIG hammer and hit the bottom under the frame while under pressure being pulled back straight. after striking it many time see if the straps will gain any more ground on pulling it back it place. don't be afraid to knock the hell out it. it is already foo bared so you can't mess it up:
trust me you will have to pull it way past where you wont it to stay.

do yo know anyone that has a porta power?
