Default Need DCS controller

I bought a 1997 TXT DCS and the controller and motor were bad. I bought a new D and D motor but can't afford the Alltrax controller I want right now. Does anyone have a controller that they would be willing to sell cheap until I can save up for the Alltrax. Thought it was worth an ask. Thanks!

Look up the Alltrax NCT series for DCS. It’s basic, but it works well for replacing those failure-prone DVS controllers.

I have a DCS cart with the NCT-48275-DCS and it’s been fine.

I'm not a big fan of the NCT line of Alltrax controllers. The product descriptions first line is for use in carts of stock configuration only. That leaves about 90% of the BGW readers out. These controllers have a high failure rate when installed in a modified cart. Modified means rear seating added, bigger tires, or aftermarket motors.
Plus they cost nearly as much as a BETTER XCT controller.

Looked at those but that still more than I want to spend. I want their 500 amp controller but just want to get it rolling for now.

Unfortunately not too many of the originals survived. Good luck

There are repair services. IF you use one be sure to get the replacement warranty service as well, there is a high possibility the unit will not last until the original warranty is over ( especially with the D&D motor drawing additional amperage) and the added warranty can help pay for R&R and shipping.

Don't be fooled into thinking 'rebuilt' controllers are anything more than repaired controllers.
Repaired controllers are old controllers like your which have previously failed and the failed component replaced.
There is no standard for rebuilding controllers, unlike a rebuilt engine. They are just repaired - nothing more. So it's like buying an engine with one new piston or one new main bearing.
