Default How to put oil in Club Car Transaxle.??

How do you put new oil in the rear transaxle. I know where the drain plug is and fill plug, but how do you get oil into it once drained or if low... my cart sounds grinding when I let it coast... I am thinking the oil is low.

Help!

I used a long piece of clear tube. I think 3/8" fits in the fill hole. And I bought gear oil in a squeeze bottle. Put the clear tube over the squeeze bottle squirt it in.

Grinding noise could be worn splines on the input shaft or a bad motor bearing.

If the transaxle is grinding, fluid won’t fix it, it was too late for that before you even noticed the noise. Bearings are cheap enough and can be replaced, but if it has wear on the gears you pretty much need a new transaxle.

2006 Electric Precedent. Recently changed for first time transaxle fluid. Don't faint it doesn't get driven that often. Read somewhere it holds liter. Purchased from WM 75-90W full synthetic gear oil. Don't cut tip off too big as smaller tubing allows air to escape as you add fluid through upper fill hole. Both plugs are on drivers side and 3/4" but are not same. Lower plug has magnet in center and be sure to wipe away metal filings which it is designed to catch. Using smaller tubing allows air to escape and fill until fluid tries to run out of top hole. Holds almost full liter.

I have a question
I had to fix the drain plug threads on the casing and since I had the axel off the cart I filled the axel standing up since it was way easier by myself. I installed the axel back and after a few months I just realized today I put 30 oz ( I spilled a little from the 32. oz) versus the recommended 22 oz is that a major issue ?
It took all the fluid so I didn't even realize what I was doing at the time but it just hit me now
