1999 TXT quit while operating it

This cart just quit while I was driving it. It has new batteries about 4 months ago and a new forward reverse switch about 2 months ago. The solenoid and diode have been replaced. I have been using a EZ Go Tech Repair and Service Manual that starts with model year 2001 to try to troubleshoot it, but that says the controller is a 1206. My controller is a 1205-117. Does anyone have a service and repair manual for a 1999 model, that would have a 1205 controller ? Also how do I tell if this is a PDS or Non-PDS ?

The guide I was looking at gets me to the controller is bad, but I had to change the wiring around to match that wiring diagram. Not opposed to a new controller but I would like to make sure that's the problem and not just be a parts changer. Thanks.

Look in the sticky section for Guide to tell if Ezgo is Series or Sepex(regen) system this will help you identified

Take a look at "Vintage golf carts" web site under EZGO, they have a wiring diagram that is is for a 1204 but the wiring appears to be the same as the 1205
a PDS would have a Curtis 1206-MX controller totally different animal.

OK so my cart is series - non PDS

It is a series drive.

The wiring is pretty much the same except the 1206 has the four control wires in a single molex plug and the 1204/1205 has four separate spade connectors

Attached is a schematic with a 1204/5.

A 1999 txt has a reed switch, the schematic does not.
